"I want to shred fat"

"I want to loose weight"

"I want my belly fat GONE!"

Heard these before? Maybe your the one with the goal to shred down or someone close to you has mentioned it ... as summer gets closer and closer (at least in Australia) the pressure becomes a bit heavier to get that summer body and summer CONFIDENCE ready! 


We’ve heard of weight loss pills, cut out all carbs, even cut out all fat... or our personal favourite, don't eat anything after 6. Any educated coach has rolled their eyes or banged their head against the wall a few times hearing this.


Here’s the only tools you need to shred down and KEEP it off.

TRACKING

Do you know your TDEE? Total daily energy expenditure is the amount of calories burnt (without exercise included). If you are an individual who doesn’t have time to train because of work,family or other commitments, this will be your first priority. A Fitbit, Apple Watch or a similar tracker will tell you this. 


If it’s says 1600 burnt by the time you have gone to bed, this is the number your working with...


CALORIES IN CALORIES OUT

Once you establish your TDEE (and if you are currently training, this number may be added. 1600 TDEE + 900 working out = 2500 total calories burnt ) you now begin to track food. 


Do you have a coach to guide you or someone to keep you accountable to your goals? Having a coach is going to help you do all the math and make sure it’s right. Tracking the calories you eat is going to ensure you don’t eat ABOVE that priority number. You eat more than your calories burnt, you gain weight. You eat LESS you LOOSE! 


It’s that simple 

Macros are another topic we can’t WAIT to dig into however for now, know that macros determine how we FEEL. Shocked? Not everyone feels great eating a whole bunch of carbs, someone might feel a million bucks on them - each person feels different on different macros...
